Sound Alibi is the production company
of Andy Wood, a digital media artist who works with moving image, sound
and performance. He makes screen-dance work, video installations and
public projections that intervene in non-traditional spaces. His collaborations
have involved site-specific, improvised and cross-disciplinary performance
and his current creative research revolves around improvisation with
a moving camera and kinesthetic empathy.
His films have been screened at international film festivals, in galleries,
on public buildings, in shopping malls and on TV.
Andy is a Director of Moves:
Movement On Screen Festival is on the Yorkshire panel of Artists
Taking the Lead and is currently working on a short film for the
imove strand of the cultural olympiad.
